Belle of Louisville Riverboats has a rich history with many stories to tell. We are the proud home of two National Historic Landmarks, the famous Belle of Louisville and Life Saving Station #10. At 108 years old, the Belle is a singular, lasting piece of history from a bygone era—a time machine here from the past to help us share the river’s stories in a way that no one else can. We are committed to providing programming that encourages passengers to explore history and Louisville’s arts and cultural heritage in a way that represents diverse stories and honest experiences.

Deckhand

As a member of the Vessel Operations Team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, such as handling mooring lines and rigging, assisting passengers while boarding and disembarking the boat and much more. No experience? No worries! Training is provided.

Bartender

Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as ordered by customers. Verifies cash drawer. Totals prices, receives payments, and balances cash register at the end of shift. Cleans utensils, equipment and floors and restocks bar items. Helps set up for events with linen and special packages. Sells gift shop merchandise, receives payments, and balances cash register. Operates a camera and takes pictures of customers boarding the riverboats. Is cross trained in all aspect of the Food & Beverage Department. Works photos, concessions, and souvenir retail if needed.
