Holiday cruises aboard the Mary M. Miller run Halloween through New Year’s Eve, beginning Oct. 25

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (October 16, 2025) – The Mary M. Miller is setting sail into the holiday season with a lineup of themed cruises, offering festive experiences from Halloween through New Year’s Eve. From ghosts and Krampus to Cookies with Captain Santa, the riverboat will bring seasonal celebrations to the Ohio River starting Oct. 25.

“The nights may be getting longer, but that doesn’t mean the cruising season is over,” said Krista Snider, executive director of Belle of Louisville Riverboats. “The Mary M. Miller gives passengers the chance to experience the fall and winter seasons on the river in a way that’s both traditional and not-so-traditional. Maybe our guests will even create some new traditions!”

Over he past two weeks, the Mary represented the city of Louisville alongside her sister vessel, the Belle, at America’s River Roots festival in Cincinnati. Now back at home port, she’s preparing for her most spirited stretch of the year.

Upcoming Holiday Cruises Aboard the Mary M. Miller:

• Ghosts on the River – Oct. 25: A Halloween cruise featuring a silent disco, ghost stories, drink specials and more as guests sail into the eerie side of the Ohio River.
• Halloween Kids Cruise – Oct. 26: A family-friendly outing with crafts, a trick-or-treat train and a dance party. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
• Friendsgiving Cruise – Nov. 21: Celebrate friendship and the start of the holiday season with a festive menu, get-to-know-you activities and river views fit for a reunion.
• Krampus Cruise – Dec. 6 and 13 (21+): A mischievous twist on holiday tradition, featuring cocktails, music and a special appearance from Krampus. Photo opportunities and playful holiday vibes included.
• Cookies with Captain Santa – Dec. 6, 13 and 21: The Mary transforms into a winter wonderland with Santa and Mrs. Claus, cookies, hot cocoa and family fun on the river.
• New Year’s Bash – Dec. 31 (21+): Ring in 2026 on the water with dancing, drinks and skyline views at the annual New Year’s Bash.
