Louisville’s beloved steamboat returns to the water June 26 for her first cruise of the 2025 season

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 25, 2025) – As temperatures soar across the region, the Belle of Louisville is cruising back just in time to offer a breezy escape on the water. The iconic steamboat kicks off her 2025 season Thursday, June 26 with a fan-favorite #ThrowbackThursday cruise from 7 to 9 p.m. Guests can cool off with retro tunes, drink specials and one-of-a-kind views aboard the oldest operating Mississippi River-style steamboat in the world.

The Belle was briefly out of commission after inspections ahead of this year’s Great Steamboat Race led to some needed repairs. With that work now complete, the iconic vessel is ready for a full season on the water.
