Step aboard the Belle of Louisville Riverboats for the 2026 season

Following a challenging 2025 season, a triumphant return begins April 5 with fan favorites and new adventures

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 25, 2026) – Following a 2025 cruise season cut short by historic flooding events and unexpected repairs, the Belle of Louisville Riverboats are full steam ahead and ready to welcome guests back aboard Louisville’s iconic vessels. Beginning April 5, the Belle and the Mary M. Miller invite locals and visitors alike to step aboard and experience the river once again.

There’s nothing more quintessentially Louisville than a cruise along the Ohio River and every voyage provides a front row view to the city’s charm. Glide past historic landmarks, soak in golden sunsets and enjoy a journey that only the Belle of Louisville Riverboats can offer. 

“Following a challenging 2025 season, welcoming our community back onboard means more to us than ever. The support we received reminded us just how deeply the Belle is woven into Louisville’s story,” said Krista Snider, Executive Director of Belle of Louisville Riverboats. “This year, we’re coming back with a renewed commitment to creating experiences people won’t forget, and we’re ready to celebrate in a big way.”

Whether you’re returning to a favorite tradition or stepping aboard for the first time, this season was designed with you in mind. Built with direct feedback from guests, these cruise offerings blend beloved returning cruises with new offerings, giving you more ways to unwind and celebrate:

  • NEW! Cruise-e-oke – Select Thursdays 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. (July-September) 
    • Belt it out on the Belle. Grab your whole crew and hop onboard to sing your favorite tunes with Cruise-e-oke. 
  • NEW! Prom on the Belle – May 29, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. 
  • Celebrate in style with a night of nostalgia by dressing up in your finest attire and dancing the night away. 
  • NEW! Motown Cruise – July 31, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. 
    • Enjoy the iconic sights of the river and groove to classic Motown tunes featuring Darryl Van Leer and the DVL Revue aboard the Belle.
  • Kids Cruise – Select Days 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. (April-August) 
    • Trade screen time for steam time with family-friendly cruises where you can enjoy music, hands-on activities and surprise guests.
  • Afternoon Cruise & Picnic Lunch – Select Days 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. (April-October) 
    • The Afternoon Cruise offers peaceful river views and a free Adventure Passport for kids, while the Picnic Lunch adds a delicious meal. No matter which cruise you pick, these adventures are the perfect way to make lasting memories on the river. 
  • Steamboat Supper – Select Fridays 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. (April-December) 
  • Enjoy a special evening on the water with the Steamboat Supper cruise. Savor a classic comfort meal and sip a cocktail from the full bar while enjoying the sights and sounds of Louisville from the best view in town, the river. 
  • Sunset Cruise – Saturdays 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. (May-December, excluding July 4)
    • Relax and revel in the beautiful sights and sounds of the river on the Sunset Cruise. Grab a drink and enjoy live music while observing the stunning scenery of the river at dusk. 
  • Sunday Funday – Select Sundays 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. (April-November)
    • Relax and unwind aboard the Belle with family and friends while enjoying games, a taco bar and live entertainment. This scenic cruise is the perfect way to close out the weekend and start the week off right.
